  • No doubt Redmi note 5 is a smartphone with some exceptional feature at this price range but let us see some impressive feature and see if it is worth its price range.

Impressive features:

  • The most impressive feature of Redmi Note 5 is improved display from Note 4 with an additional 5.99 inch full HD with 2180 by 1060 pixels. For people thinking of buying a new smartphone at this range, Redmi Note 5 has a wonderful, colorful and sharp display that makes it worth grabbing.
  • Note 5 has the same processor as Note 4, the company has used it intentionally as it worked well for its predecessor.Note 5 is smart enough to handle a person day to day tasks, connecting to social media and the demands of game lovers smoothly.

  • Provided fingerprint sensor is an excellent security feature accurate and precise to serve its purpose well. Note 5 has M1V1 9 with some upgraded features like quick access, bundled notifications, and quick replies.
  • Other best feature is powerful 4000mAH battery that is impressive to handle day to day task easily and can also the next half day.

Not so good one features:

Redmi note 5 is actually similar to Redmi Note 4 with exceptions of display and slim edges perfect to be carried in the home. Camera module and technically most components are same as of its predecessor.
Xiaomi opted for Android Nougat OS instead of Android Orea OS which should have been used and even in near future company has no plan to use Orea OS.
The rear camera is of 12 megapixels alone with better light capturing features for sharp pictures but the reality is that quality of pictures in low light is very average and far from satisfactory. Pictures taken in daylight are though very sharp.
Front camera of 5 megapixels is also just average for selfie lovers so not to expect much better pictures from the front camera.
It is clear that company has played safe because the company knows it worked nicely for them in the past. Good powerful battery and better display are undoubtedly excellent features, the phone can handle day to day tasks smoothly but Redmi Note 5 is going to face tough competition from other phone brands in same segments.
For the people with a budget of 10000 Rs, this smartphone is a nice option especially if they are not using Redmi Note 4 but for people who have a budget of more than 12000 should certainly opt for Redmi Note 5 pro because its camera quality and other features are far better than Note 5.
People who have not used Redmi Note 4 then certainly Note 5 is a nice and decent smartphone to be picked up. At this price range, Redmi Note 5 is indeed the best smartphone.
